Peaceful, relaxing, great location We had a wonderful time in Nevis and staying at Villa Verandah was perfect for us. Peter had all the logistics and information for getting us from St. Kitts airport to the water taxi to Nevis, renting the car, getting to Villa Verandah arranged, making our arrival, after some long flights, very easy. All of this was well communicated. When not checking out the island's beautiful sights, beaches, and great restaurants, we were relaxing in the screened-in porch and pool. Absolutely lovely! It was nice to be close to so much and still feel "away from it all". We appreciated Livi, who greeted us when we arrived in Nevis, was always available and responsive when we had questions or concerns, and made arrangements for our departure. All in all, this was a wonderful experience! Thank you!

Villa Verandah is a beautiful space with an enchanting Caribbean style and feel. Views of the ocean to the west, wilderness to the north/south/east. The wrap around terraces accommodate all manner of family activity. The great hall with kitchen and family room is perfect during the summer rain showers: the house comfortably fits 8 adults.. The swimming pool is a great respite from the beach. The setting is quiet and peaceful. The location is a five minute car ride to Oualie beach, 10 minutes to paradise beach (our favorite) and 15 minutes to Pinney's beach. Peter is a wonderful host. Through his contacts Peter arranged our taxi ride from St. Kitts airport to Reggae beach from which we took a boat across the channel to Oualie beach; our rental car we picked up at Oualie beach, an escort to the Villa and a tour of the Villa's amenities; as well as our transportation on the return leg. If you are visiting Nevis for the first time: make sure to plan a trip to the Valu Mart IGA grocery which is just east of downtown Charlestown, about 25 minutes by car from Villa Verandah. We also highly recommend the Gin-Trap restaurant (10 minute walk from the Villa): great drinks and appetizers with a dynamite view of the channel. For a special occasion, we recommend Bananas (25 minute drive from the Villa). We highly recommend Villa Verandah for a wonderful vacation.
So GOOD!
Villa Verandah was our home away from home for a week in Nevis. We were two families traveling together with six kids ages 9 to 16. The house worked perfectly for our group. There was plenty of space (4 bedrooms), was close to beach (10 minute walk) and the pool area and screened in porch were quite simply - awesome. Both the adults and kids loved hanging out enjoying the views and cooling off in the pool. We loved adventuring out into Nevis to find the hidden gems. I recommend getting a map and driving around the island. All the gems are listed in guide book at the house. Peter (the homeowner) was amazing. He had everything organized for us the second we walked out of the airport. We had taxi service to the boat to Nevis and then had 2 rental cars ready to go for us. From there we had Peter's local contacts take us directly to the house. Peter's local help was remarkable. Attentive, responsive and very kind. In short, they took very good care of us. If you are looking for a great place to call home, look no further. Villa Veranda is an oasis and a wonderful place to call home. In fact, we didn't want to leave! Hope you enjoy!

My family (myself, wife and two teenagers) stayed for a week at Villa Verandah in Nevis. The house provided everything needed for a great vacation. We swam in the pool a couple of times a day, ate and hung out on the large porch for meals and relaxation. The porches provide views to beautiful gardens and the Caribbean. Oualie Beach which is close is fantastic to hang and swim. We also enjoyed tasty meals at unique restaurants on the Island. Peter helped with the arrangements and the people on Nevis are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay and will be going back again in the future. Thanks Peter! Finbarr

Peter’s lovely villa is a great home base to enjoy Nevis, with a great layout, views and a nice pool. Lots of monkeys, donkeys, too. Peter was super responsive making arrangements to and from his home. We had a great week, lots of great food, walks, swimming, hiking and our first scuba. People on the island were super friendly.
